March 8 is International Women’s Day and Laserfiche is celebrating by recognizing all the women who work in the tech industry.
Laserfiche was founded by Nien-Ling Wacker,
a woman who began her career building custom solutions out of her home in the 1970s. She grew her business into a leading global provider of enterprise
content management (ECM)
software. Today, she is recognized as a visionary leader and a pioneer in her field.
Wacker, along with countless other women, have made huge contributions to technology. The team at Laserfiche draws inspiration from those women who
have blazed trails as technology leaders.
International Women’s Day was first organized in 1909 in New York City, and has been recognized annually in the U.S. and worldwide ever since. It serves
as a celebration of the historic and ongoing advancements in industry, politics and socioeconomics achieved and pursued by women around the world.
On this day, we’d like to say a big thank you to the brilliant women in tech who exemplify our mission at Laserfiche: to accelerate how business gets
done by creating software that people love to use.
We’ll continue our celebration of inspiring women in tech throughout March, in honor of Women’s History Month. Click here to learn more about some of the talented female leaders who make up our team.
